About the artist
The Team represents how individuals gain strength and unity by being together in groups such as the family, a football team, or returned soldiers meeting at the club.
2018
John lived in Prospect for over 20 years and still has a strong connection to it. He studied at NASA from 1985-1992 and started his art practice after graduating. John still sculpts, with his most recent work being the 'Bower Walk' at the new Royal Adelaide Hospital which he created with fellow artist, Ian Hamilton. He also works as an archaeologist, recording and researching rock art in West Arnhem Land.
