OUR MOB - Exhibition Tour with Charissa Davies

Newmarch Gallery is excited to host a tour of an outstanding exhibition ‘OUR MOB’ hosted by Senior Exhibitions Curator, Charissa Davies .

The OUR MOB exhibition is the culmination of artistic activities throughout the state that bring Aboriginal artists together in a unique and outstanding exhibition of Aboriginal art across a diverse range of media.

OUR MOB began in 2006 and is held in the spirit of reconciliation to demonstrate the power of art in bringing together diverse peoples in harmony with a common goal.

We will start our tour at MOD Australia's leading future-focused museum, provoking new ideas at the intersection of science, art and innovation.

This will be followed by a light lunch at Food Lore, after which we will walk to the Festival Centre for the guided tour of OUR MOB with Charissa Davies.

9.30am - Depart Newmarch Gallery/Payinthi

Walk from Festival Centre to MOD

10.15am - MOD self guided tour

11.30 - Lunch at Food Lore*

Walk back to Festival Centre

1.30pm - Tour of OUR MOB

3.00pm - Return to Payinthi

Please note there will be two short walks between Festival Centre and MOD

Lunch will be a selection of wraps and sandwiches, a house made brownie and a cup of coffee.
